We at ZUQ Funeral Services pride ourselves in giving heartfelt and genuine advice to families when a loved one passes away. We as a funeral service are in a blessed position to understand every aspect of funeral arranging. This knowledge ensures that we can provide bereaved families with up-to-date information, guidance, and impartial advice when a loved one passes. Our experience ensures we can provide families with the peace of mind that everything will be taken care of. 

We have several funeral & removal vehicles fully equipped with stretchers, covers, body bags, PPE for short & long-distance collections and transfers.

Our vehicles are fully insured, regularly inspected, maintained, and hygienically cleansed. The transport of the deceased can be arranged from & to the home, hospitals, coroners, cemetery, airport and to the ZUQ funeral services mortuary. 

ZUQ Funeral Services has a purpose-built facility and dedicated Ghusl Room, for washing and shrouding the body in accordance with Islamic funeral practices. Alhumdulillah our facility is stocked has everything you need to conduct the ghusl of a loved one and ensure everything is at hand to make the ghusl process easier. We can (on request) provide guides to help you conduct the ghusl and direct you according to the sunnah. 

Losing a loved one can be one of the most difficult experiences and ensuring that the deceased is handled with dignity and respect is our utmost priority. According to the Islamic tradition, ritual washing of the deceased (Ghusl), is an obligatory act.

The ghusl / ritual bathing is a means of honouring and respecting the deceased as they transition to the next life. Having all the equipment, supplies & provisions to be able to complete the Ghusl wash is something we provide. We will try our best to have everything on hand to comfort the bereaved family and make the process easier.

We have an on-site refrigerated storage facility to accommodate 6 bodies, with a cold room should we exceed this number. Alhamdulillah we also have excellent relationships with other local sites with access to further our capacity should the need arise.
